Tragedy: Accident with Corinthians fans' bus in Grande BH leaves 7 dead
The accident occurred early on Sunday (20) on the Fernão Dias highway, in Brumadinho (MG), when a bus carrying Corinthians fans overturned. The driver lost control of the vehicle when entering the curve in the road. According to eyewitness accounts, shortly before the accident, the driver shouted that he had no brakes.

Seven people lost their lives in a tragic accident that occurred in the early hours of this Sunday (20), when a bus transporting Corinthians supporters overturned at kilometer 520 of the Fernão Dias highway, located in Igarapé, in the metropolitan region of Belo Horizonte. Initially, the Fire Department erroneously reported a total of eight fatalities, but later corrected the information, confirming the death of seven people.
In addition, the corporation also reported that 36 people were injured in the accident., with 27 of them requiring medical attention and being referred to hospitals in the area. Six refused assistance The names of the victims have not yet been released.

The vehicle, which was heading to Taubaté (SP), had left the capital of Minas Gerais after the game of the São Paulo team against Cruzeiro, in Mineirão, which ended in a 1-1 draw. The person in charge of managing the road, Arteris Fernão Dias, explained that the caravan from Vale do Paraíba was on a bend in the km 525 of the BR-381, going down the mountain, in Minas Gerais, when the driver lost control of the bus, crashing into a ravine before overturning. The bus, whose property belongs to the company CFV Martins Transportes and which had a Jacareí license plate, was rented by a branch of Gaviões da Fiel in Vale do Paraíba, located in São Paulo, to transport supporters from different areas, including São José dos Campos, Jacareí, Caçapava, Taubaté and Pindamonhangaba. According to firefighters, 43 fans were involved in the accident, although they initially reported that there were 46. Tragically, ten people were trapped in the wreckage after the accident.
