Serious injury: Neymar suffers knee ligament tear and will undergo surgery, says CBF

In a statement released on Wednesday afternoon (18), the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) announced that player Neymar suffered a serious injury to his left knee. According to the CBF, Neymar had a rupture in his anterior cruciate ligament and meniscus. As a result, he must stay away from the fields for months. The estimated minimum time for your return, when compared to similar injuries, is six months, although actual recovery may take longer and depends on the rehabilitation process.
