An incident occurred during a music festival at Serra Dourada Stadium, in Goiânia, when a ramp collapsed, causing injuries to several people. According to information provided by the Fire Department, most of the victims suffered abrasions, while some also had compound fractures and head trauma. The number of injured people increased to around 40, according to the corporation, but the exact number of injured people could not yet be determined, since several agencies were involved in caring for the victims.

The festival brought together important names in national rap and other genres, such as Racionais MC, L7nnon, MC Hariel, Djonga, Matuê, Xamã and Filipe Ret.

Accident

According to reports from the Fire Department, the incident occurred on sunday (09) around 23:16, on the ramp leading to the front stage, an elevated area of ​​the festival in relation to the stadium's lawn, allowing a view of the two stages located at the ends of the football field. The incident caused a huge panic among the people present. Firefighters reported that, due to the collapse, the victims fell from a height of approximately 4 meters.

To ensure adequate assistance to victims on site, the Fire Department mobilized 12 vehicles for the festival, which took place at Serra Dourada Stadium. How they received care from the Fire Department with the support of the Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu), and other injured people were assisted by brigade members.

Victims

The brigade teams of the event, of the Fire Brigade, Military Police It's from Emergency mobile care service (Samu) offered assistance to the victims present. Most of them suffered only minor abrasions, however, thirteen individuals were treated by the Fire Department and later referred to different hospitals in the metropolitan region of Goiânia. Goiás State Emergency Hospital (Hugo) treated a man and a woman who have already been discharged. A young woman is stable, but with a facial fracture, and must undergo oral and maxillofacial surgery. A man had a compound fracture in his left leg, had surgery and is in stable condition. Another patient is undergoing orthopedic surgery for an ankle fracture. At the Governador Otávio Lage de Siqueira State Emergency Hospital (Hugol), three girls and a boy are in regular condition, conscious and breathing spontaneously. At the State Hospital of Aparecida de Goiânia Cairo Louzada (Heapa), a 21-year-old is stable and undergoing a surgical procedure after fracturing his femur.

The Hospital dos Accidentados and the UPA also commented on the health status of the other two patients treated at the respective units.

Investigations

In an official statement, the team responsible for the Rap Mix Festival reported that all necessary measures were taken to ensure the safety of participants, including obtaining the necessary permits. Organizers are currently conducting an investigation to determine the causes of the incident involving the ramp. In addition, the organization is committed to identifying and offering support and assistance to affected victims. The Civil Police announced that it is awaiting the presence of the victims involved in accidental bodily injuries to give testimony in the police station about the case.
