According to Guy Oseary, Madonna's manager, the "Celebration" tour will be postponed due to the artist's health problems. The announcement was made on one of their social media platforms. Oseary reported that on Saturday (24), Madonna contracted a serious bacterial infection, which resulted in his hospitalization in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for several days. Although her health is improving, she remains under medical care. It is believed that she will make a full recovery.
"At this time, we will need to pause all commitments, which includes the tour. We will share more details as soon as we have them, including a new start date for the tour and the rescheduled shows," the manager said on his Instagram.
Madonna's most recent post on social media platforms took place on May 20, featuring a collection of photos that showcased the lead-up to the shows. In the caption, she wrote: "The calm before the storm."
Tour
The tour was scheduled to start on July 15 in the city of Vancouver, Canada, with a completely sold-out show. The singer planned to visit the United States, Mexico and several European countries, including England, Denmark and France, until January. During the entire tour, performances were planned in 43 cities around the world.
