Israel-Hamas War: Itamaraty confirms tragic death of Brazilian missing in Israel
The 23-year-old Brazilian was at the rave that was attacked on Saturday (09) by the extremist group Hamas.

Ranani Glazer's body, the 23-year-old Brazilian young man was located after disappearing last Saturday (07), while participating in a rave party that was the target of an attack by the terrorist group Hamas, during an invasion of Israel. Confirmation of the Brazilian's tragic death came from Ranani's family on Monday night (09), and was also announced by Itamaraty on Tuesday morning (10).

Attack on Israel
The attacks orchestrated by the Hamas terrorist group, occurred in the early hours of last Saturday morning, and involved land and air invasions in several cities in Israel. The rave that Ranani was at was one of the first targets of terrorists, which arrived by land, resulting in the tragic death of 260 people. This rave took place in the southern district of Israel, less than 20 kilometers from the Gaza Strip. Also according to Israeli authorities, in addition to the deaths in the attack, several people were kidnapped by the terrorist group.
The electronic music event, organized by Universo Paralello, was attended by around three thousand people. The rave organization issued a statement deeply regretting the recent events in Israel, which involved unprecedented simultaneous attacks in several regions of the country by Hamas.
Ranani Glazer
Ranani lived in the country for seven years and held Israeli citizenship. He was born in Porto Alegre and was 24 years old. Ranani had completed his military service in Israel and was living in Tel Aviv with friends, where he worked as a delivery man.

Glazer was accompanied by his girlfriend, Rafaela Treistman, and Brazilian friend Rafael Zimerman. The three tried to escape the party andtook refuge in a bunker, but unfortunately, this hiding place was also raided. When they finally left the protective location, Rafaela and Rafael were lost without knowing Glazer's whereabouts. Ranani even posted on social media about the bombing at the shelter.
