With this achievement, Bia Haddad once again equaled Maria Esther Bueno, who was the last Brazilian to reach this stage in a Grand Slam - specifically at the US Open, in New York, also in 1968. in the top 10 of the WTA rankings next week.

"Since the beginning of my career, I've gone through many barriers. Everything in my career has been little by little, I've never been disruptive, I'm very happy, even more so because Ons is a player that I respect a lot. I was very disciplined. I'm very happy , I'm living a dream, I worked hard to be here", declared Bia in an interview with ESPN.
